Robotic Approach To Catamenial Pneumothoraxwith Diaphragmatic Hernia

BACKGROUND: A 37 year old female with cyclic pelvic pain managed with oral contraceptives presented with shortness of breath and chest pain and was found to have a catamenial pneumothorax.
METHODS: Technical steps to robotic repair of catamenial pneumothorax with primary repair diaphragmatic defect, right upper lobe and right lower lobe blebectomy, and chemical pleurodesis.
RESULTS: Findings and operative techniques as narrated in the video
CONCLUSIONS: Robotic approach to catamenial pneumothorax with diaphragmatic herniation can be safely performed.
