BACKGROUND: To demonstrate a robotic left upper lobe lobectomy surgical technique post immunotherapy and chemotherapy induction.
METHODS: In this video we demonstrate the key technical aspects of a patient undergoing a robotic left upper lobectomy who had preoperative induction immunotherapy and chemotherapy for Stage IIIA lung adenocarcinoma.
RESULTS: Findings and operative techniques as narrated in the video.
CONCLUSIONS: Robotic left upper lobectomy can be safely performed in patients with induction immunotherapy and chemotherapy. Patients appear to have slightly stiffer parenchyma and significantly enlarged lymph nodes encountered during dissection.
