Robotic Tricuspid Valve Repair In Device-induced Tricuspid Regurgitation
T. Sloane Guy, MD, MBA.
Georgia Heart Institute at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainsville, GA, USA.

Background: The totally endoscopic robotic approach is a versatile technique that can be utilized to treat a diverse array of cardiac surgical pathologies.
Methods: This video demonstrates our totally endoscopic robotic approach (using five 8-mm ports) to tricuspid valve repair in a patient with pacemaker-induced tricuspid regurgitation.
Results: In addition to tricuspid valve repair, we highlight additional aspects of our technique including the use of intercostal nerve cyroanesthesia to reduce postoperative pain and the utilization of barbed, non-absorbable sutures for atriotomy closure to increase operative efficiency.
Conclusions: The totally endoscopic robotic platform is an effective minimally invasive approach to treat device-induced tricuspid regurgitation.
