At the close of the 2022 ISMICS Annual Member Business Meeting on Saturday, Dr. Kiaii was presented with a Societal Plaque and, in exchange, he passed the Leadership of ISMICS over to Dr. Thourani. Dr. Thourani further congratulated Dr. Kiaii on his successful Presidency of the organization and shared some additional comments.

The Cardiac session on Saturday featured another Live Surgery Case on Robotic Midcab; the procedure incorporated the Octopus Nuvo and was conducted by Nirav C. Patel, MD. With Bob B. Kiaii, MD and Piotr Suwalski, MD assisting, the case was transmitted from the Central Clinical Hospital of Ministry of Interior and Administration and Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education in Warsaw while Daniel M. Bethencourt, MD moderated.
