Technical Aspects Of Non-atriotomy Concomitant Maze
MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, USA.
In concomitant Atrial Fibrillation ablation procedures, the left and right atria typically are opened to perform the left and right isthmus lesions. A technique is presented for performing complete Cox-Maze lesion sets without the need for large atriotomy. The left isthmus lesion is performed by connecting the roofline to the aorto-mitral curtain.
