Asd Repair, Minimally Invasive Approach

OBJECTIVE: Demonstrating minimally invasive repair of ASD, in a 34 years old lady , who presented with accidentally discovered osteum secondum ASD
METHODS: right minithoracotmy was done, arterial and venous femoral cannulationwith the use of Superior vena caval canulation via the jugular vein, Chitwood clamp was used for aortic cross clampingCO2 insuffilation was usedpericardial patch was used to close the defect
RESULTS: patient went home on day 3
CONCLUSIONS: This is a safe way of doing the operation with better cosmesis ,and good outcome
