Successful Repeat Pulmonary RFA after Initial Near Fatal Complication

OBJECTIVE: to present and discuss a case of successful repeat pulmonary RFA after an initial near fatal complication.

METHODS: detailed review of the case.

RESULTS:successful repeat pulmonary RFA was obtained after initial massive air embolism.

CONCLUSIONS: initial massive and near fatal air embolism does not preclude a successful repeat pulmonary RFA in a postponed intervention.
