Microlobectomy, With Day 1 Discharge

OBJECTIVE: To demonstrate the feasibility and safety of doing the VATS lobectomy using the microlobectomy technique, using 5 mms ports rather than 10 mm
METHODS: we are presenting a case of Right lower lobectomy, using two 5 mm ports and subxiphoid port
RESULTS: Excellent results with the patient going home on post operative day 1
CONCLUSIONS: It is a safe way to perform VATS lobectomies, with even smaller ports
